Tepper Alumni Panel on Healthcare Reform

You are invited to attend a special alumni panel discussion on Health Care Reform on Thursday, November 19, 2009 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at The Rivers Club in Pittsburgh. We will begin with a networking reception at 6:00 p.m. followed by the panel discussion at 7:00 p.m. Health Reform will bring unprecedented change to the US healthcare industry and create both winners and losers. Please join us for an open discussion of the opportunities for businesses and investors as well as the impact public policy. We will focus on answering questions such as: · How will pharmaceutical companies need to position themselves with changes to insurance benefits? · What is the impact of additional primary care demand and what efficiencies and investments will be needed to accommodate the new demand? · What technologies could take advantage of expected increases in hospital capital budgets? · Where is the market discounting stocks due to current uncertainty in managed care and pharmaceuticals? Our discussion will be led by a panel of experts who have cross-industry expertise in healthcare and life sciences.
