Mission Statement:
To provide life-long social, network, and educational opportunities for current and future Tepper School of Business alumni, located in the greater Pittsburgh area. The Tepper School of Business Pittsburgh Alumni Chapter (PAC) accomplishes this mission by building strong relationships between alumni and the Business School community of students, faculty, and staff and by promoting a strong Business School identity through a variety of alumni-sponsored activities.
Letter from the Alumni Chapter President:
Welcome to the Pittsburgh Alumni Chapter (PAC) website! There are over 1,000 Tepper School of Business alumni residing in the Pittsburgh area. Not surprising, this is the largest concentration of Business School alumni in the entire world! As our Mission Statement states, the PAC’s goal is to provide local alumni with a variety of opportunities – from social to professional to educational – via a wide selection of activities.
Since the PAC’s inception in November 1999, we have held numerous happy hours, small group dinners, professional events, a golf outing, and launched this new website. Recently we even spun off a separate group that will focus on holding networking events and activities specifically for entrepreneurs.
As one of the founding members of the Tepper School of Business Pittsburgh Alumni Chapter, I have had the pleasure of working with an Advisory Board and many dedicated alumni who have greatly helped to build the current PAC. It has been very rewarding to watch the Chapter grow and offer additional activities to local alumni.
I want to thank everyone who has participated in the PAC over the last three years. Your support has been instrumental in growing the PAC. For those who have not yet been able to participate, I encourage you to attend a PAC event in the near future. These events are excellent opportunities to re-establish old friendships, create new friendships, or just network for personal or professional benefit. I look forward to seeing each of you at a future PAC event!
