Douglas Gensler is a Principal and Managing Director of Gensler, a global architecture, design, planning, and strategic consulting firm with 43 locations around the world. In the last 20 years Doug has grown the Boston office to over 100 talented professionals and is currently collaborating with a range of clients on a number of notable projects. Some of these include the new headquarters for Mathworks in Natick, Quest Diagnostics’ new workplace in Marlborough and PNC Financial Services’ Tower at PNC Plaza in Pittsburgh, set to be the most environmentally-responsible skyrise in the world.
Doug is a key member of Gensler’s firmwide leadership and the Commercial Office Building Practice Area in addition to being actively involved with numerous industry associations such as CoreNet, AIA, NAIOP, and ULI, amongst others. He is also a proud graduate of Cornell University, currently serving on the School of Architecture, Art and Planning’s advisory council.
